Cooking: The Easiest, Most Decadent Dessert Ever

Don't have time to bake? Or perhaps you just don't want to, but still want to have the perfect romantic dessert... This decadent dessert is so simple to make, it's perfect for Valentine's or if you just want to make a romantic dessert at short notice.

So here's the easy part, we're going to cheat a little, but I won't tell if you don't...

Go to your local grocery store and buy some unfrosted chocolate brownies from the bakery section. It's important not to get frosted ones because you're going to smother your brownie hearts with decadent homemade Chocolate Sauce.

If you can't get unfrosted brownies, go to the freezer aisle and you'll find frozen brownies. All you'll need to do is bake them as per the packet instructions. Once they have finished cooking, allow them to cool.

Prepare the Chocolate Sauce.

Using a heart shaped cookie cutter, cut the brownie into heart shapes.

Heart shaped cookie cutters can be found in most large grocery stores around Valentines, otherwise you can buy them from any store that sells cake decorating supplies.

Brownie

Transfer the brownie heart to a dessert or side plate.

Brownie

Drizzle the brownies with the warm chocolate sauce, smoothing out the sauce gently with the back of your spoon. Top with a strawberry fan.

How to make a Strawberry Fan

On a cutting board, hold a strawberry by the stem and make narrow cuts from just below the stem to the tip of the strawberry.

When you have made several of these cuts, hold the stem in one hand and gently fan out the strawberry with your other hand.
